love this booster but cl-2 sounds more natural (flat) from my opinion, and also same with the klark teknik version which is still a little bit less expensive than this

Get the most from SM7B

Great device, easily fits in line, really make the SM7B shine.

It's an excellent preamp that gives you better quality when recording. With the microphone I use it with it is a Rode PodMic and it fits perfectly.

Clean gain boost

I use a shure sm57 and sm58 paired with a focusrite interface. The gain aways needed to be dialed to a point with auditable white noise in order to be loud enough. The Dynamite preamp adds a very very clean gain boost! Most of my trumpet or vocal recordings are now crystal clean! Remember this thing uses phantom power as well.
