Extremely low latency. No discernible latency difference between USB port (which is intermittently malfunctioning on my midi keyboard) and this. Sometimes the note on’s even come in faster on my midi monitor.
The only thing is, it took me about 15 minutes to figure out how to get my Mac to recognize it. Once I ran the “install helper“ after installing the driver, it recognized the interface. Before that, I couldn’t get it to recognize it. OS Catalina. It’s working fine now.

I have found this to be the best MIDI to USB on the market. It is a little pricey, but well worth the money. I had so many delays with other products I thought it was my computer. The troubleshooting included stripping my drive and reloading everything, it was that bad. Finally, I purchased this, and all the issues went away. I recommend using a good driver - look for ASIO for all. This cable works wonders. Buy it and stop reading ;)

Can confirm that it works with superior drummer 3 and Roland's HD-1. Low latency.

The UM-ONE will work out of the box, no drivers needed for Windows 10 or 11 and the latest MacOS's. If you have Windows 8 and older or an older Mac, you'll need to flip the little switch from TAB to COMP (short for Tablet and Computer, respectively) and install the drivers from the Roland web site for the UM-ONE mk 2 for your particular OS..
In the picture above you can see I set up my TWO Roland UM-ONE mk 2 devices together with cable adapters to connect the Round MIDI ports back to back. This allows my DAW computer to talk to a Raspberry PI (emulating a Roland MT32 Sound Source). They both just plugged in and worked.

The was all Japanese, but i figure it out. i had to restart my computer before the mk2 automatically took the drivers for windows 10 . items works fine.
