All the acoustic instrument processing you need is neatly contained and easily accessible in Tech 21's 12.5" Acoustic Fly Rig guitar multi-effects unit. Tech 21's renowned SansAmp amplifier emulator fills out the center section of the Acoustic Fly Rig, sandwiched between the EFX section on the left — with delay/chorus/reverb/XLR/headphones controls — and the Comp section on the right with its controls. The Acoustic Fly Rig is built tour tough, with an aluminum chassis and pro-grade footswitches, but it only weighs approximately 21 oz.

Perfect for me!

Exactly what I needed to downsize from all my pedals to one small-form-factor box with just what I actually use on my Acoustics! The only issue I had was dialing DOWN on settings because I was using too much. Nice problem to have! If this thing turns out to be as rugged as it is sonically useful, I see a long relationship ahead!

Good for mandolin players

I play a mandolin in two different bands and have been wanting to ditch packing my amp, found my answer Tech 21 Acoustic Flyrig. With the SansAmp I can dial in just the sound I want. The reverb sound great, just the right amount for my taste, I mostly use the chorus EFX. The compression is also good, easy to adjust. The boost is perfect for that little extra for lead work. My setup is mandolin to the Acoustic Flyrig direct to the board. Seems to be well built. Easy to pack. I have also put my Pbass through it and it sounds great. Highly recommended the Acoustics Flyrig.

A Solid Choice

Easy to use. Built to last. Sounds great. Plenty of features without over doing it with half measures. It also works well with hybrid guitars like the Fender acoustasonic series, and my PRS, MusicMan, and Parker Fly guitars that all have piezo bridge elements. I was choosing between this, the Boss AD, and the Transit A, and this Fly Rig had the best sound, most portable size, and essential features that I needed. Hope this helps. I only use great gear and I believe this piece is the best in its class. You can but better for more money, but you don't really need to.

Easy to use, perfect vehicle for acoustic gigs

The new Tech 21 Acoustic Fly Rig, is all you'll need for gigging. Run straight to PA and it sounds great. Light weight and easy to use make this multi fx pedal great for simple setup, just plug and play.

Tech 21 Acoustic Fly Rig

I have been trying to find an easy solution for using my Fender Acoustasonic Tele that didn't require separate amplifier or patches on my line 6 Helix that would basically be plug and play. This did the trick and did it with minimum input on my part as far as settings go. Played a live acoustic gig over the past weekend with this direct to a Behringer PA monitor and the sound was crystal clear and hum, buzz free. Made no adjustments to it and received nothing but compliments about the sound from audience and band mates. I have a few other Tech 21 products and none have ever failed (TradeMark 120 amp) and Bass Fly rig so true to that companies reputation it delivers! Try it.
