The Xotic EP Booster pedal for electric guitar is based on the preamp stage of the classic EP-3 echo effects processor. Legendary guitarists used that preamp to craft their studio tonesincluding Jimmy PageEddie Van Halenand Eric Johnson. The EP Booster pedal delivers up to 20dB of boost that will add an undeniably rich character to your guitar tone. Internal Dip switches allow you to fine-tune the boost frequencies and EQ settings. To hit your amp harder while also adding some character to your tonewe can highly recommend the Xotic EP Booster pedal.

Buy this pedal, you won't regret it!

I bought this pedal simply based on reviews. You could almost say I bought it to prove them all wrong. Everyone spoke so highly of it and made it sound like pure magic. It just all seemed so impossible.

Everything you read is 100% right! This pedal IS magic! People talk about buying 2- one to leave on all the time and one to use as a boost. I am considering doing the same. I leave this on all the time. It is impossible to put into words just how much of a difference it makes in your tone. It opens everything up and adds a nice sparkle that lingers warming up your whole sound. I can't bring myself to turn it off. My rig sounds so dull without it now that I've seen the light. Imagine when Dorothy ends up over the rainbow and see the beautiful color for the first time- how could she ever got back to dull, ugly Kansas? That's how it is. I'm afraid if I buy a second one it will just make it sound even that much better and then I'll need to buy a third one... that will just get way out of hand.

I would replace this in a heartbeat if anything happened to it. I doubt it will ever break since it is so well built but I could see it getting stolen after someone else hears the magic.

It just sort of adds this really musical boost to your signal at a low setting. There are many more great things to experiment with the dip switches and control. Get a bright drive or a very dark vintage sound. I haven't turned it off yet.

Great booster EQ pedal

This pedal is one that I always keep on and combine with other effects pedals to give improve the overall sound quality of my amp. I would buy it again.

Great Addition To My Pedal Board

Very impressed! I was not expecting the results to be as good as they were. The "presence" was solid and really works well with other pedals. I personally would consider this a "must have" pedal. Note: I placed it right after the wah pedal (if this helps you).

Excellent volume boost pedal and part of a suite of excellent guitar pedals

This pedal does so much for your sound its hard to do it justice, but I will try. You can get a full sound out of your pedal board by running your signal through this pedal on its way to your amps and/or recording device. I am very happy with my purchase. I am so happy with my Xotic Effects USA pedals that I have purchased the SP Compression pedal to go along with it, even though I already own two compression pedals. I wanted the full Xotic experience: SP > BB+ > SL Drive > EP Booster with some other pedals in the mix. I have so much control over my tone with these pedals I am very happy.
