I have a VOX Valvetronix that I use for church. Not wanting to lug that huge unit around, I was looking for a practice amp at home that would compliment the sound I am used to while playing. This gets the job done. It certainly is as loud as I would need a practice amp to be, I'm barely at 50% volume and it's already more than enough. It has the classic VOX sound, mellow + slight muffle (depending on pickups). If you prefer cleaner, a tone/gain adjustment will solve for that. Since I use pedals, I don't really need the overdrive but it's a good edition should I ever not have them around. I've also been a fan of the aesthetics of these, this little model looks good in the house. It's a soft authentic look vs an edgy rigid appeal.

Simple amp with one 1/4" input and one 1/4" output. For the price, this sounds excellent. I haven't played my electric guitar for years, but it sounded great through this little guy. I only plan to play at home, so this will probably be the last/only amp I need. I recommend.

I played with it for about 3 hours, I've got the scoop on this amp.

Its attractive, its warm sounding, not like the old fender bullet, peavey, or crate style practice amps. It sounds like a warm head unit, matched with a punchy speaker that responds excellent.

Theres so many different sound tones you can get, the knobs are true rheostats not preset clicks, so you can swim the levels all over.

If you're into metal, the OD will take you to black sabbath level crunch, but you'll need a pedal to get to slayer with this one.

Excellent buy no other entry level amp compares.

Until I bought this amp, I thought solid-state amps were supposed to always be too loud, buzz constantly, and pick up radio signals. Turns out they aren't supposed to do any of those things.

Overdrive on my old practice amp sounded like a can full of bees. THIS beautiful amp sounds and looks so good, I use it as a mono speaker around the house when I'm not jamming on my guitar.

If you're thinking about buying this amp, DO IT.

Looks great! Sound is great from this little practice amp and looks good enough to leave out.
